On 28 July 2015, an historic judgement was made when the Malawi High Court declared that Nyasa Times should remove all defamatory content against Dr. Rajan Mahtani from its website and shall also make a monetary compensation for the injury caused. The case was being fought between the Mahtani Group of Companies Chairperson and Nyasa Times as the latter was being harassed by the former through incorrect publications.

People who are closely associated with this case reveal that Nyasa Times was being continuously helped by Zambia Reports in this campaign. This is why the Malawian news portal had the courage to defame one of the finest businessman of Africa. However, everything in this regard now stands as settled under the purview of the Malawi High Court.

As for Zambia Reports, Clare Locke LLP has already informed GoDaddy, the hosting service provider, about the nuisance which it is causing in Zambia. It has not only violated numerous laws, but has also committed criminal offenses by running a character assassination campaign for Dr. Rajan Mahtani. A response is being expected very soon and the result of this approach may result in permanent shut down of Zambia Reports.

When it comes to making conspiracies, the name of Sakwiba Sikota and the Ventriglia family fall in the first place. They together have created numerous stories which looked forward to injure the reputation of the former Finance Bank Chairman. The only intent they look to fulfill is remove Dr. Mahtani from participating on behalf of Finsbury Investments. This will give the conspirators an easy access to Portland Cement Zambia.  Previously, the Ventriglia family were deported on ground of employee abuse and misappropriate behavior. But, they made a comeback in February 2015 with the aid of bribery and corruption. Since then, it has been a story of disappointment and grief for the Portland Cement Zambia.
