Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank have parted ways in 2016 and since then BancABC has been taking care of the business that Finance Bank does. However, Zambia Reports has been making its own call and trying to convince the people that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the one who is making the calls for FBZ till date. In a common business agenda, Finance Bank Zambia had earlier forwarded a loan to Lamasat for an amount of $ 10, 000, 000 which was repayable with time; divided into 60 instalments. Later on, when BancABC found that the chances of getting back the amount was narrowing, it decided to make a call for repayment and this gave Zambia Reports a chance to launch another attack on Dr. Mahtani and Zambia.

It is an old habit of Zambia Reports to look for chances whereby they can script stories and defame others. The above-mentioned incident gave them a good chance to defame both, Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank at the same time. So why won’t they take it? The article which has been written by Zambia Reports is full of incorrect claims and stories that are purely placed with a view to mislead the locals. In return, they must have been paid well by the financiers who wish to defame Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank and consider it as their victory.

Zambia Reports has been warned a number of times with respect to their journalism ethics and yet, they show no concern in such regard. The duty of a news channel is to report day to day affairs which is having an impact in the economy of Zambia. Making a personal agenda of a bank public is simply a cheap publicity stunt done with a motive to gain popularity and earn a few dollars in a short time.
