Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have been shocked with the latest defamation attempt from Zambia Reports and the Ventriglia family. A headline that just looked like a success story for Zambezi Portland Cement was hiding another set of defamatory content against Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The incident has clearly marked the fact that the conspirators are least bothered about facing the legal consequences and would continue with these kinds of offence.

When the headline of Zambia Reports flashed that Zambezi Portland Cement had won the award for being the best employer of 2016, it was a news most welcomed by the locals. But then things changed when people went on to read the complete article. Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have once again been blamed and this time around they consider that the factory was earlier in a very poor condition. According to Zambia Reports, it was the efforts of Ital Terrazzo Limited under Antonio Ventriglia that the factory was able to achieve its current status.

However, when it comes to facing the truth, we all know that Mr. Ventriglia has been intentionally skipping Court sessions where he was asked to prove his claim. PACRA recognized Finsbury Investments as the owner of Zambezi Portland Cement with a stake of 58% and then we have Ital Terrazzo Limited (minority shareholders of ZPC with a stake of 42%), who claim that they have 100% ownership of the factory. The funny part is that when the Court had asked ITL to prove its ownership they have been found fleeing the country with absurd reasons. In light of such statement, how can one belief that the factory has achieved greatness under Mr. Ventriglia. Needless to say, in the previous months there had been numerous conflicts between the management and the workers of the factory. The assets of the factory also stays leased to third parties.
