The bio-ethanol plant which is proposed to be setup in Luapula Province has gained widespread appreciation from the locals as well as the President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu. The news of a tie-up between the Sunbird Group and Mahtani Group of Companies has ensured that the project remains feasible for the region along with a support of USD 190 million. With this news, it has become obvious that Dr. Mahtani & Zambia are moving ahead in the direction of development.

The development will contribute in a variety of manners. First of all, the dependence of Zambia on oil import would decrease as the bio-ethanol plant would generate 120 million liters of oil yearly. The total expense of the Zambian Government would come down by a considerate level through this setup. Secondly, there will be an increase in the total number of employment opportunities for the locals. As per the forecast, there will be about 7,000 people who will be employed in the operations. And thirdly, the bio-plant will also offer a boost to the ancillary industries who will offer additional such as food for workers, raw materials, etc.

The President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu is extremely pleased with the affairs and looks forward to have further participation of Sunbird Group. However, the dark clouds of conspiracy from the Ventriglia family and Zambia Reports continues to create havoc in Zambia as imaginative stories and false claims continue to haunt Dr. Mahtani & Zambia. Over the years, the same has been running under the guidance of Sakwiba Sikota, but it is sad to realize the fact that the Government has not done much to preserve the interest of its citizens. Nevertheless, Dr. Mahtani & Zambia will not back out from the challenges which has kept in the path by the conspirators. Zambia was free and will be free!
