The Former Finance Bank Zambia Chairman was wrongfully defamed again by a dishonourable conspirator’s group, again. This conspirator’s group comprises of minority stakeholders of the cement factory, the Ventriglia Family along with contributions from Henry Banda and Sakwiba Sikota. These stakeholders pulled a new story with the objective of highlighting the name of Finsbury Investment in the Panama Papers. On top of that, a photograph of Dr. Mahtani was wrongfully used claiming that he visited his legal consultant in this regard.

This news came just after Finsbury Investment’s name was hosted in the Panama Papers. It should be noted here that the name of the investment firm has not been patented by Finance Bank’s former Chairperson, Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Thus, it was available for other bodies/entities as well. However, these conspirators took this incident as their opportunity to defame Mahtani Group of Chairman for evading tax.

It is a quite known fact that Ital Terrazzo Limited in the PCZ has started oppression and contested against Finsbury Investment. This ITL is owned by none other than Finsbury Investment. Thus, it makes it obvious that they plan to dethrone the Finsbury Investment so that they can claim this million-dollar plant themselves. There have been numerous incidents in the past wherein these conspirators tried hard to defame Finance Bank Zambia’s former Chairman. All these defamation cases were related to the FBZ. After the takeover, the very same conspirators are now targeting the Finsbury Investment. Needless to state that these defamation campaigns have been running unsuccessfully for the past five years and nothing is being done by the Government other than silently witnessing the entire chaos. Even after workers were illegally terminated from the factory by the Ventriglia Family, nothing was done by the Government Officials. This is a clear indication that there is not guaranteed safety for Zambia’s common man unless they become part of the illegal conspiracies.
