The Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies and the former Chairman Finance Bank, Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has shown his true intent with an investment of USD $150 million in Luapula province, Africa. The investment came through a partnership with the Sunbird Group, a UK based company.

The investment in being made in the form of a bio-ethanol plant which will use cassava as one of its basic inputs. Since the area of Luapula has an abundant supply of cassava, it would be easier for the factory to have its raw materials. Additionally, numerous job would be created with the development of this plant. Analysts consider that a total of 2, 000 direct jobs and 5, 000 indirect jobs would be required for the plant to operate in its initial stage. The plant will commence with its construction phase from November 2015.

Though this news has uplifted the moral of the locals, it is expected that soon the conspirators will begin to show their impact on this auspicious project. Recently, the name of Finance Bank Zambia was associated with Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia Ltd., and it was claimed by former Chairman Finance Bank, Zambia, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani intends to takeover NCZ through the debt trap.

The Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies is also the former Chairman of Finance Bank, Zambia. Over the years, he has been constantly facing defamation because of his involvement in the Zambezi Portland Cement factory. Today, Zambia Reports, the Ventrilgia family, Sakwiba Sikota and Rupiah Banda have come together to great horrendous conspiracies. The task of the masterminds is to fabricate stories and Zambia Reports publishes the same with pride. However, as the date of hearing gets closer, the conspirators have started getting desperate in their acts. The bottom line is, Zambia will remain loyal towards the truth!

The present scenario in Zambia, Africa is nothing short of a typical Hollywood movie where an innocent is continuously being oppressed until he decides to find a way for himself. The former Chairman of Finance Bank, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is playing the same role in real life. Over the years, he has become a victim of conspiracy where conspirators are continuously trying to defame him and show him as a culprit behind the degrading performance of the Zambian economy.

It all began with the issue of Zambezi Portland Cement Factory where the minority shareholders, the Ventriglias developed a greed for money and decided to take over the ZPC in typical Mafia Style. Since then, it has been all about hiring media personnel and making defamatory news. It is shocking to see that the Government under President Edgar Lungu has done nothing to preserve the rights of its own citizen.

For years, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has continued to work with a dedicated heart towards the development of Zambia. Not once, he thought of making private gains at the sacrifice of Zambia’s growth. Still, today Zambia faces a threat from people who do not belong to Zambia. Their only objective is come and loot the resources of Zambian public and fill their bank accounts with money. Zambia Reports has always spit venom against the former Finance Bank Chairman and all that the Government did, was to watch the same and keeps their ears shut against any cry for help.

A person who single-handedly defeated the cement giant, Lafarge in Africa, is now being regarded as a dishonest businessman by some hired faceless authors. However, the only hope for the former Finance Bank Chairman, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the Zambian public- his brothers! As long as the support of the locals are with Dr. Mahtani, he is always ready to face any conspirators like a gladiator against an army of hyenas.

The former Chairman of Finance Bank, Zambia, has become a big problem for the Italian Mafias in Ndola. A plan which was set with a view to loot the resources of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory is now facing a stiff restriction from the Executive Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani. The impact of this retaliation has resulted in a huge fight of words between the two parties.

It has been a great disappointment for the Italian Mafias as they are unable to fulfil their desire of looting the wealth of Africa and moreover, they are finding themselves trapped after exhausting most of the factory resources within a span of 6 months. Issues such as firing the employees, deciding to make offshore transfers at will, trying to bribe officials and implementing Mafias tactics to get their job done have prevailed commonly in the factory.

One of the workers in the factory commented, “We are currently going through hell under the Ventriglias. They have deprived us of the privileges that we used to get earlier. Now all that we get is abuse. We have a family to feed and a home to look after, but with the nature of treatment and salary system we are finding it hard to survive every single day.”

Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was previously in the management of the factory and under his influence, the factory was able to reach new milestones. Happiness, motivation and prosperity prevailed in the Zambezi Portland Cement factory, but after his tenure was ‘illegally’ terminated from the management level, the place has become a hunting ground for the scavengers named as the Ventriglia family. The workers hope to have the glorious days back in the days to come through the Court’s verdict on the ownership of the factory.

It has been six months since the Italian Mafias (Ventriglias) took over the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory with the help of goons. April 7, 2015 marked the day when this unfortunate event took place. News with respect to growing levels of cash embezzlements and worker ill-treatment has continued to flow out of the factory and has circumstances have reached a level where the workers are no longer expecting anything in return for their hard work.

Non-payment of salary

As soon as the Ventriglia family took over the affairs of the factory, the first thing that they did was snatched the salaries of the workers. When the workers claimed their salary, they were asked to recover the same from Dr. Rajan Mahtani. This was a very sad situation for the workers as they have a family to feed.

Termination of workers

Soon after the Zambezi Portland Cement factory started to incur losses due to heavy cash withdrawal and poor management, the Ventriglias found it apt to fire some of the workers because they had no work for them. This resulted in termination of 47 workers without being given an opportunity to be heard.

Tampering Records with PACRA

The most shameful event in Ndola took place when a lawyer of the Ventriglia family forced a junior officer to make some changes as per the requirements of the Ventriglias. The change was made in the PACRA’s register and without the consent of the High Court. Later, the changes were reversed when the authority learnt about the shameful incident.

Apart from the aforesaid, there has been numerous other incidents in the premise of Zambezi Portland Cement Factory, which has resulted in continuous losses for the factory. Life at Zambezi Portland Cement Factory has come to a complete halt after the departure of Dr. Rajan Mahtani and Finsbury Investment from the management of the factory.

Often it has been witnessed that there are cases of rags (poor) becoming rich. However, this time around in Africa, there is a unique case where a flourishing factory has gone from being rich to rags. Though most of the people are finding it difficult to accept this fact, but YES! This is true that Portland Cement Zambia has run into losses following the operation of the Italian Mafias (the Ventriglias).

It has been only six months, ever since the Portland Cement Zambia is being managed by the Ventriglia family. Within this time period they have not only managed to disrupt the prevailing harmony within the factory, but have mismanaged the operations in such a manner that a factory whose potential was to generate USD 5 million on a monthly basis has run into losses.

The infamous tampering of records for Portland Cement Zambia

A lawyer of the Ventriglia family in September 2015 did something so shameful that the event has left the whole nation shocked. The lawyer tried to force changes in PACRA’s record without considering the obliging with Court’s consent. As soon as the changes were forced, Zambia Reports came out blazing that Dr. Rajan Mahtani was no longer a part of Portland Cement Zambia. Later, when PACRA learnt about this nuisance, the changes were immediately rectified.

With activities such as worker ill-treatment, fund mismanagement and bribery increasing at a rapid pace within the premise of Portland Cement Zambia, it is obvious that the factory would face serious harm. The interest of the Ventriglia family is only restricted to withdrawing funds from the factory and transferring the same to off-shore bank accounts. This is why they were previously deported from Africa in 2012. However, their deportation orders were lifted in 2015 after the death of former President Michael Sata, under mysterious circumstances.

It has been hardly few days since the return of Dr. Rajan Mahtani in Zambia and Zambia Reports has already its infamous campaign. The very first thing which is claimed by ZR is that Dr. Mahtani had previously fled Zambia and the second thing that they have to say is that he is faking illness to escape charges.

It is being informed to all that these claims are less valuable than a pile of dirt accumulated in the Portland Cement Zambia. Zambia Reports have become famous for writing imaginative stories and are in the misconception that they influence the opinion of the Zambian public. In a recent rare article which was blessed by Dr. Rajan Mahtani, it was clearly mentioned that the truth will always prevail over the lies. The people of Zambia have shown a strong support to the publication which had come from Dr. Mahtani.

On the other hand, it is a well-known fact that Zambia Reports is full of lies. The Ventriglia family pays ZR to write those fabricated stories. This is why one can always find fabricated stories in the name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Interestingly, there are hardly any stories which talks about the Ventriglia family.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani was facing some serious health issues over the past few months and this is why he had to leave Zambia. Here is a letter from the respective health care unit which segregates the truth from the lies:

It is obvious that as the date of hearing for Portland Cement Zambia is coming near, the conspirators will try to keep Dr. Mahtani away from the case. They too know about the influence which he has over the people of Zambia and Africa. After all, a follower of Christ has nothing to fear.

It is a misconception for the Ventriglia family that the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory will be won by creating conspiracies against Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Zambia Reports has once again crossed its limit and has directly tried to defame the former Finance Bank Chairman by claiming that he has run out of options and is looking forward to rebuild his image in public.

As a matter of fact, Zambia Reports has always been claiming that its sources make exclusive coverage of stories against Dr. Mahtani. Sadly, the same sources failed to cover one of the biggest scandals in Africa when the Ventriglia family was caught in an attempt to tamper records with PACRA. Not a single sentence has been mentioned in Zambia Reports in this regard and the operator claims that Zambia Reports is one of the best news portals in Africa. What an irony!

Winning the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory through illegal means is not an option for Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani. His actions have always allowed this factory to grow and prosper. During the inception period, it was Dr. Rajan Mahtani who had allowed Finsbury Investments to invest in Zambezi Portland Cement. To put in simple words, ZPC owes its existence to Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani.

In 2014, the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory made a remarkable achievement by producing 4, 70, 000 tonnes of cement in a single year. This output was more by 1, 00, 000 tonnes as given to the forecasted target. With such contributions, Dr. Mahtani doesn’t need to hatch conspiracies or bribe officials. As a believer of Christ, his work is to continue with this responsibility of developing Zambia and leave everything else in the hands of the legal system of Africa. Zambezi Portland Cement has seen the difference within the past 5 months- losses, misery and mismanagement under the Ventriglias.

The name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani is enough to strike fear in the hearts of the people who wish to exploit Africa through corruption. In a recent incident, it was observed that the minority shareholders of ZPC tried to manipulate the records of PACRA and remove the name of Dr. Mahtani from the list.

The intent behind amendment of registry was to ensure that the ownership of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory was placed in the hands of the Ventriglia family. Through this step, it would have become easier for the Italian Mafias to cast a web of corruption in Ndola and enhance their private offshore bank accounts. Dr. Rajan Mahtani instantly took the initiative of pointing out the changes to PACRA through the letter attached below:

When PACRA learnt about this nuisance, the changes were immediately removed and the register was restored as earlier. The event has become one of the most shameful actions ever committed in Africa.

The Game Against Dr. Rajan Mahtani

Usually, when changes are required to be made in PACRA’s record the request has to be honoured by the High Court. But in the present case, the lawyer of the Ventriglia family wrote a letter and then took the same to the Kitwe Office of PACRA and forced a junior officer to make the desired changes without maintaining any provisions for the Court’s order. Sadly, the name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani was removed from the list.

This is not the first time that the former Finance Bank Chairman has been indirectly attacked by the conspirators. There have been numerous incidences where the Ventriglia family has defamed Dr. Rajan Mahtani and has tried to convince the people of Zambia and Africa that he is a dishonest person. Nevertheless, those tricks never worked for them, even once.

The Ventriglia family has crossed all the limits of shamefulness in their quest to grab the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. Last week, a horrific incident took place at the Kitwe Office of PACRA when a lawyer named as Zacharia Muya forced a junior officer to make changes in the register of PACRA without any permission from the court.

Being a regulatory body, PACRA serves as a register for organization’s shareholding patterns and other information. Sakwiba Sikota, the loyal lawyer of the Ventriglias, did make an application in June 2015 to PACRA in respect of making changes within the shareholding pattern of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory by replacing the name of Finsbury Investments with the Ventriglias. However, the same request was dismissed as PACRA required an order from the Court to make the same adjustments.

This where another lawyer for the Italian Mafias did the trick. Days later, Zacharia Muya wrote a similar letter which was once again addressed to PACRA and took the same to the Kitwe Office of PACRA without having it passed from the head office. A junior officer was approached and pressurized to make the necessary changes. Immediately after the changes were made, the Ventriglia family went around bragging the fact that they are now the actual owners of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory.

The celebration was short-lived when PACRA learnt about this hideous act of crime and immediately the whole changes were reversed. Now, once again the actual owners of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory is Finsbury Investments with a stake of 58%. Nevertheless, this act has left a lot to be considered as this is not the first time that the Ventriglia family has mocked the legal system of Zambia. It is time that a serious action is taken against the Italian Mafias and their associates.
